Kali Bich

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Kali bichromium ( Kali Bich ) is prepared from potassium dichromate, a chemical compound that is involved in many industrial processes, such as dyeing, printing and photography.

For homeopathic use, this corrosive chemical, also called Kali bi, is diluted to nontoxic levels with large amounts of milk sugar, a pharmaceutical process called triuration.

It especially affects the mucous membranes of the air passages and is a good remedy for sinusitis. It is used homeopathically to treat discharges from the nose, throat, vagina, urethra and stomach.

TARGET AILMENTS

* Headache - Migraines, the pain is in small spots with blindness or dim vision that usually occurs at the same time every day.

* Earache - Earache, especially on the left side with a thick, yellow, smelly discharge.

* Common cold - The nose feels stuffed with a sensation of pressure and fullness at upper part of the nose. Sinus pain over and along the eyebrows that feels better when pressing the top part of the nose. Discharge is thick, green or yellow, smelly, lumpy and causes soreness of the skin around the nose. There may be a yellowish coating on the tongue. A crust may form from the mucus that is difficult to remove and may leave the skin raw.

* Sore throat - The throat is dry and rough and looks red, shiny, and puffy. Tonsils are inflamed with deep ulcers and voice is rough and hoarse.

* Cough - A dry cough that brings up sticky, stringy, thick yellow-green mucus. There may be pain from the front of the chest to the back, between the shoulder blades.

* Digestive disorders - May vomit up a bright yellow water or mucus.

* Diarrhea - Brown and frothy diarrhea and there is painful pressure in the rectum.

* Aches and pains - Back pain at the base of the spine and in the joints.

WOMEN

* Thrush - A yellow, ropey, sticky discharge from the vagina.

MEN

* Urinary disorders - Constriction at root of the penis and a stinging, profuse discharge, jellylike discharge that blocks the urethra. Pain in prostrate forces him to stand still, pain is worse when walking.
