These natural herbal menopause supplements and vitamins will help reduce the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause:

Vitamin E taken internally at a dosage of 800 i.u. daily may help menopausal symptoms. Vitamin E cream applied to the vaginal area may prevent itching.

Vitamin C with bioflavonoids such as hesperidin and quercetin may relieve hot flashes. Take at least 1,000 milligrams daily of both.

Lecithin Granules in a dose of one tablespoon two to three times daily before meals may also help to reduce hot flashes.

Calcium should be taken in a dose of 1500 milligrams a day with 400 units of vitamin D.

Magnesium and Boron shoul be taken in a dose of 400 milligrams of magnesium and 3 milligrams of boron a day. This will help to prevent osteoporosis.

Black Cohosh comes from a shrub that is native to the forests of North America. It has weak estrogen-like activity helping to reduce hot flashes.

Dong Quai tends to help balance the hormonal system. It relieves hot flashes and painful menstruation or too frequent menstruation.

Chasteberry is believed to be able to increase production of progesterone which helps regulate a menstrual cycle. It is not quick acting though as it usually takes months to start balancing the hormonal system.
