If you plan on becoming a natural health affiliate, you really need to do your research and to experiment. But first you must decide what is important in determining the right program for you.
I have owned this website since 2005 and have signed up for many natural health affiliate programs. I'd say at least 50 or so!
After a trial and error period over the first three years, I weeded out all but a select few.
Here is the criteria that I used when deciding on a natural health company.
(1) Quality of the product. Remember, you are promoting natural health and you don't want an inferior product that is not going to reflect well on your website. It must be natural or organic and serve as a benefit to people's well-being.
(2)Uniqeness of product. If I am investing my time and effort in promoting a product, I definitley don't want to find it available on Amazom.com or on walmart shelves. Most people will shop for price and if they can get it cheaper on Amazon, who can blame them. So make sure that the products you promote are not available at other cheaper outlets.
(3)Communication with the affiliate manager. I can't tell you how many programs I dropped out of simply because I couldn't get an answer from the affiliate manager. If I ask a question concerning their natural health affiliate program, I expect a timely answer.
(4)Commissions. This is how we are going to make money and I'm pretty picky about the commission percentage. I generally don't apply for programs less than 20%. There are enough quality health programs available that have a good commission rate and I like to work smarter instead of harder.
(5)Cookies. Most affiliate programs will have 30 to 60 day cookies. I am NOT impressed with these companies! I want to be part of a lifetime residual program. Affiliates in these programs can keep making money from visitors they send to the merchant site for as long as the visitor continues to purchase goods or services from the merchant site. This leads to a continuous income stream when good products and service result in happy customers returning to purchase products for the long-term.
Below is a list of the natural health affiliate programs that I promote. This list is by no means an exhaustive list. They are just the ones that I use and am successful with. I make a nice income with these companies but wanted to increase my earnings.
I have never promoted any of these companies to website owners looking for affiliate programs (didn't want the competition), but recently read an article on how to increase your earnings with sub-affiliates. It just made sense to start promoting these natural health affiliate programs to other people looking for a true and tried program.
If any of these programs meet your criteria, then I hope that you will sign up under me and enjoy the same success that I have enjoyed with these companies.
I hope that this will help narrow your search. Remember to have your own criteria and to do your homework when searching for natural health affiliate programs.
I wish you much success with whatever affiliate program you choose!!
