Vanilla Essential Oil





Description:

Vanilla is a perennial climbing fleshy orchid, which has a fragrant, waxy, pale greenish-yellow trumpet flowers in spring followed by long, narrow seed pods.

They grow on trees and shrubs for support.



Therapeutic effects:

Vanilla essential oil is used as a skin sensitizer, but only in low dilutions. The extract flavor liqueurs and is popular in aphrodisiac foods.

A vanilla pod, added to hot water or vaporizer releases a warm, relaxing, sensuous aroma.

Uses:

Unripe pods are “cured” to develop their intensely sweet creamy , vanilla aroma.

Vanilla extract flavors desserts, ice cream and confectionery
